Mr. Jacobson has been advocating on behalf of those injured due to the negligence and reckless conduct of others during the entirety of his over twenty years of legal practice. He approaches every case from a trial lawyer’s perspective, with the vision of an attorney experienced in taking his client’s case in front of a jury whenever necessary.

He has obtained multiple seven and six figure verdicts, as well as settlements, in cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, the Labor Law and the Jones Act, in the both State and Federal Courts of New York.

Notable results include a jury verdict for $3,587,000 on behalf of a laborer who sustained shoulder and spinal fractures and injuries as a result of a fall from an unsafe scaffold; a jury verdict of $2,850,000 on behalf of a recently licensed general surgeon who was limited in practicing in what was her chosen field as a result of a cervical spine injury from a motor vehicle accident; a settlement of $1,950,000 for a custodial manager who sustained severe injuries as a result of a slip and fall on ice in a parking lot; a settlement of $1,500,000 on behalf of a 67 year old dentist who tripped and fell in his office building and severely injured his dominant wrist as a result of the negligence of construction workers who left a loose piece of Masonite in an elevator; and a jury verdict of $1,500,000 for a merchant seaman who sustained a spiral leg fracture while engaging in unsafe workplace practices which were imposed upon him by his employer.

Mr. Jacobson is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and admitted in New York State as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Jacobson was a proud participant in Trial Lawyers Care, donating his time and legal services on behalf of the family of a young woman tragically killed while inside the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks.
